So its the end of the year, a year that I viewed as one of the worst years in my life until recently when I realized that it really hasn't been that bad of a year in any sense. Sure, I thought summer sucked, but that was because my focus was on the wrong aspects instead of all the time I spent with my closest friends and the new friends that I became close with as well. My birthday was definitely the worst in my life, but again, my friends that were actually there for me still managed to make it a good occasion (i.e. the boat at Ryan's and the good news Kate brought for me). As I look back on the year, I've come to realize that its just been a rollercoaster year, but all-in-all, its definitely been a good year for me. One relationship ended, but another began, and I realize that I'm a lot happier now than I was a year ago, maybe even longer. (Editor's note: today it is my 1/2 year birthday, which I just realized looking at the date for this entry). I've grown up a lot this year and realized that not everything that happens to me is my fault, but lies on the shoulders of others instead. Note, I said not everything, which is where the growth comes in. Its just as immature to think that everything that happens to you is everyone else's fault. So although 2005 wasn't the best year in my life, it also wasn't the worst, and if things continue going as they are, then I think 2006 is going to be a good year for me.
With that said, now comes my personal year in review in certain areas...

Recent Reviews
King Kong - The first 2 and 1/2 hours are good. Once it gets to New York, it all goes downhill.
Syriana - Boring, nonsensical plot. You have to be a foreign diplomat or businessman to understand any of it.
Soul Calibur 3 - Amazing gameplay, more options, but harder than the second.
