I am cutting myself off. Until I go through the books on my bookshelf and/or kindle that I have not read, I am not allowed to buy anymore non-school related books. I really liked A Clockwork Orange and Everything is Illuminated.

MOBY DICK IS THE MOST BORING BOOK THAT EVER LIVED. EVER. I haven't finished that, or Crime and Punishment bc they both make me want to cry and/or fall asleep while reading them.

Dead Until Dark is a cute/quick read, so you could probably power through that in a couple of hours? I think I did, iirc.

omgggg moby dick makes me want to die. i can't decide if i'm stubborn enough to finish it. i flip back and forth.

i've seen both a clockwork orange and everything is illuminated in movie form, and i liked them both. plus i really really loved extremely loud and incredibly close, so i feel like i'll probably enjoy everything is illuminated. i asked jessie this, but do you think it's possible to read dead until dark and just... not read any others in the series?

Moby Dick. Ugh. I loathed it. I had the biggest crush on this professor in college, and it was his favorite book. Mr. Kate told the professor how much I hated it, and I don't think I've ever forgiven him for it. Because I never heard the end of how I wasn't classy enough to like the most boring book ever. Seriously. I felt like every time I finished one page, the fucker spawned ten more.
