wanted: opinions and focus

I am cutting myself off. Until I go through the books on my bookshelf and/or kindle that I have not read, I am not allowed to buy anymore non-school related books. I came to this realization/self-imposed ultimatum today when I finished A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers and then remembered that I bought the book from the Barnes and Nobles in Union Square when I was a freshman in college, either just before or just after I read the first three books of the Twilight series. That means it took me over 2 years to set aside the time to read this book. That's not okay.

If you have a minute, let me know which ones you've read. Maybe I can read some sooner rather than later, or can sell some at the Strand and save myself some time.

Books that I own that I have not yet read (at least the ones that I have on my shelf in NYC):

Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk
A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
Porno by Irvine Welsh
