STI testing in Spain and/or Portugal.
Dearest travelers, expats, study abroaders, locals, and everyone else! I'm temporarily in Spain and would like to get tested for STIs [not an emergency, just want to make sure everything's as I think it is] but am not sure where to go here. I also have no health insurance at all at the moment, much less anything European [I'm US American].
If anyone here has gotten tested in Spain and could give me any information about where I should go [hospital? GP?], how much it might cost, what STIs are included, how long the results might take, tips on asking about it if the nurse/doctor doesn't speak much English [my Spanish is rudimentary at best], or anything else, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm in Antequera right now and will be in Málaga for a day soon, if anyone has specific recommendations in those places.
I'm also trying to move to Portugal, so if anyone has any insight on the testing process there, please share!
