christmas eve
today was such a great day c: i didn't get up until midday, but i was woken up by having cats thrown on me, so that was all right.
i had black coffee and a bowl of captain crunch for breakfast, the breakfast of champions, and i didn't change out of my pajamas all day. there were christmas eve presents - N bought us all fluffy omg slippers and he got a ceramic pumpkin, because. my feet have been warm all day. i don't think that's happened once this year before now. i made V bacon and eggs on toast for breakfast, and we watched captain america and played the hero up mmorpg (the sentry has a floating bed. omg). then i started cooking. i pretty much cooked all day - the amount of food i have created today is just above and beyond. other than the massive quantity of eggs and bacon i've cooked (that was our dinner too because it's just so good), i also made a chocolate mousse, a two-tone cheesecake with an oreo crust, and - of course - venetian cookies. tomorrow morning i'll make waffles, coconut macaroons and dinner rolls. i got to the point where i picked up a whisk with what looked like egg yolk on it and couldn't for the life of me remember using it.
then we watched muppet christmas carol and V and i had cocoa. N rped bob and norman with me, an au of them being kids and having negligent parents on christmas. i'm so proud of my backstory for bobby. christmas bob x norman is like the best present possible, i almost don't need anything else from him c: V and i rped frank x matt, another au with the mafia and weddings and stuff. italians, mmm. relevant to mai interests.
everyone went to bed around midnight except V and we're still up rping. i'm finishing up the venetian cookies and i talked to supergabbie and whatclaptrap and this evening was so perfect and lovely and christmassy. i'm so super pleased that we are having christmas in our house. for real.
la suocera left her puppy vinny with us over christmas, and her puppy is our puppy freda's little brother. they've been going apeshit over each other for two straight days so far <3 little puppies. omg. christmas pictures to follow once they have happened, but here are two highlights of today:
these were just whisks covered in cheesecake batter, until i put them in the sink, whereupon they became part of a scene from silent hill.
