After nearly ten years of pretty solid hosting by CI Host, I'm in the process of moving Durosia.com and Dragon-Pen.com to a new host.

Why? Mainly because CI Host has more power under the hood than I need. More than I've ever needed, in fact. I've never used most of the stuff there.

I'm guessing you were supposed to replying to this post, not the one about me switching web hosts. :)

Yeah, there are many more important things to get all riled up over. But I've railed and rallied against them here before. This was just the newest (and really interesting) one.

Of course, the website for the organization seems to have vanished... and I have yet to do more looking in to it all... so it all my be fear mongering on the part of the person who wrote the original article.

As usual, though, the fact that so many are so willing to believe stuff like that exists is indicative of a bigger problem. A total and complete distrust of those who are supposed to be looking out for our best interests.

I'm sure there'll be something else next week. :)

(And maybe I do need a chicken little icon... I'll have to work on that...) ;)
