More waves of welcome!
mrsuke is yet another one from long ago and far away in the grand City of Bricks (also known as college). He is also one of the legion of The Chris (Resistance if futile, prepare to be assimilated and all that jazz). We fell in with each other not too terribly far into freshman year and, quite quickly, along with our buddy Z, became a regular group of community serving hooligans. (Or, y'know, something like that.) The three of us had many grand adventures (this was especially true when there were six of us, counting our girlfriends). He went on to marry his and has now produced a nice little family. Of course, he's also millions of miles away, so I haven't actually seen him since his wedding. Hopefully, that change at some point in time.
Glad to have you back around, man, even if it is only in LJ Land. :)
dhairya is one of those people I saw around so much I could have sworn I knew her... and apparently everyone else could have, too, because I don't think I was actually introduced until a couple of months ago. Now, after a few nights out at atlantis_dc and a shindig or two at br0d's, we've had more than a couple fantastically entertaining discussions. Also, I finally remembered to find out just what her LJ user name was. Better late than never, I suppose. Not that I've been missing all that much... she doesn't post anywhere near as much as I do. But that's OK, maybe she'll find something entertaining or interesting here.
