Day 17 supplemental -- Progress!
So, while I was out an about on this beautiful day, showing my buddy the sights and trying to sell him on moving here, I got two calls.
One was for one of the jobs I've been waiting to hear more on. I've got an informal interview with the head of the (kinda small, but productive) company on Thursday.
The second call was the one I've been waiting for from one of the temp agencies. I'm going in to meet with them on Friday to be sure everything they have on me is up to date.
Best case scenario, I tell the temp agency that I'm no longer looking for part-time or permanent work, only freelance stuff.
Because, y'know, if I were to get a decent job offer on Thursday, I could avoid the whole temp thing totally.
Of course, I never expect the best case will come to pass.
But one can always hope. :)
Anyway, pictures from today will be posted... soon. Lots to do over the next couple of days. My Hump Day Crush piece may be a little late (as I was originally going to spend time yesterday or Sunday writing it... which was all thrown out of whack when I found I was going to have company.)
