Y'know, I noticed that on Offbeat Bride too. It's like how all high school goths dress like each other in order to be different. In the end, I think it's all about fulfilling your particular fantasy. Kind of like dancers who dress up *exactly* like Rachel Brice because they want to participate in that kind of beauty somehow, & that's the most direct way.

What you've said about your ideas so far sound very beautiful, very non-contrived, and very you. It sounds like it's going to be unique because *you two* are unique.

...but I dunno, are you *sure* you don't want to have "come join our lovefeast" all over your invitations? (Although even if you do, is that even legal in the state of Pennsylvania?)

Hmm, I dunno about lovefeasts. They just made Quaker weddings legal for non-Quakers in Allegheny County. The courts aren't ready to handle this one.

Thanks for the kind words^_^ It's good to hear, especially as complete strangers try to tell you what you *should* do.

Ha! Actually, that reminded me of the time we were walking down Carson Street and passed a little group of them and you said "Oh, look at the baby goths!" I still think of that when I see younguns like that^_^
