"Do I Dare To Eat A Peach?"

When the awesome frkmgnt1 continued (and finished!) her Final Fantasy XIII fan fiction " Do I Dare Disturb the Universe?" I couldn't resist to resume my creative flow (and my Lightning x Snow fangirl-mode) as well and painted this little watercolor piece for her:
(As always, scanners are shitty color-eating monsters and even though I tried to restore the original colors they will never be as perfect as in the the original painting.)
It shows a scene from one of the last chapters of the fan fiction.
Almost 9 years have passed since I made THIS one (showing one a scene from the beginning of the story).
Aside from the fact that I'm pretty proud of what I put on paper here (since I haven't drewn anything in years, I admit), I was thrilled by the character development and the great changes that happened in the story. In fact, both pictures show quite a contrary situation. I tried to highlight that by arranging the bodies in a similar way and showing them from a similar perspective as in the old picture, but with - obviously - contrary emotions and a somewhat reversed role distribution.
