On days like this I'm glad I'm in the northeast and not in CA. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, there is a light breeze. It's fantastic.

So starting today I'm going to be taking the bus to school since I'm not getting a parking permit. And of course, today is the first day of a predicted week-long rainstorm (combination of the remnants of Francis and a pressure front coming in from the west). Perfect.

Whatever you do, do not take a job anywhere in Oregon or northern california or some other place with a perpetually nice climate (at least compared to the typical winter/spring/summer/fall setup of the northeast and other sane places). All the nice weather will kill your productivity and leave you destitute to die in some debtors' prison.
