Hello all! I've been gone for quite awhile this time. I've been in a lot of pain recently and nighttimes are usually spent with me lying in bed moaning while I watch TV. OK, so I don't really moan, but you get the idea.
I started out plodding along with SG1. In order, I'm basically at the beginning of season 5. But I jumped ahead because I wanted to see some of the Vala episodes and ended up watching from when she came in during S8 then jumped to where she came back at the end of S9 through the middle of S10. I think she's comic genius, but I am not sure of the general fandom views on her, as well as Cam, the newcomers. Claudia Black plays Vala so well and knows when to be serious and when to joke.
In addition to my SG1 watching, I've been hooked on
Dexter by some of my friends here at school. I've watched the whole first season, but am slowly rewatching it with them. It's such a brilliant idea and the acting is superb. They're evidently playing slightly edited versions (nothing too much) on CBS. I don't generally agree with that, because it's being used as strike programming and could essentially prolong the strike. Which in my book is BAD. But that doesn't stop Dexter from being an amazing show! S1 is on DVD, which is how I'm watching it.
