Ack! It's late and I wake up at 5:45am for work, so I'm gonna get this out quick and go to bed. I just finished another book, so I wanted to update here, otherwise I may very well forget.

Everything is Illuminated by
Jonathan Safran Foer My review of the book is
here. To sum up: EiI is about a young American man (coincidentally named Jonathan Safran Foer) who travels to the Ukraine in order to find a woman named Augustine, who may have saved his grandfather during World War II. On his journey his accompanied by Alex, his slightly bumbling translator, Alex's grandfather, a belligerent old man acting as driver, and Sammy Davis Junior Junior, their amorous dog. Though on the surface it is a humorous tale, once you get into the meat of the story it becomes more moving and serious. The overall message of the book was wonderful. Also, this was one of my 1001 Books, number 28 on the list. And it was made into a movie with Elijah Wood, which I added to the top of my Netflix list.
Anyways, have a good night all! And here's sending get better wishes to my lovely
loverieed who had surgery today. It may hurt now, but it'll be nice when you don't get sick. I certainly can't wait until you're not sick 75% of the time. It makes me sad :(
