Tastee Freez and Dog N Suds are open. So that means spring is right around the corner.
You hear that, 13 degree weather?!? Right. Around. The. Corner.
Mom woke me up with the news that Mr. Rogers had died. :-( I loved Mr. Rogers. I grew up with him and his neighborhood. The world won't be the same without him.
So, with that depressing news, I had to wake up and drive Eric and his two trays of cupcakes to school and help carry them to his classroom. Then I stumbled home, climbed back into bed, and slept til 10:30, when I had to wake up to pick Eric up from school.
He wasn't feeling up to Wendy's, so I took him to Tastee Freez.
Then we ran some errands and ended up at Blockbuster, where we rented 2 games, one of which is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which is awesome but so very bad. Very bad. Then we rented 3 movies: the really superbly creepy
One Hour Photo, the cute
Sweet Home Alabama, and the as-of-yet-unseen-by-me
Men With Brooms. Mom and I watched Sweet Home Alabama today, on my laptop. She thought it was cute. We both agreed that her Alabama husband, Josh Lucas, was definitely the better guy. Plus, he's so cute and his eyes are sooo blue!
Eric had his spelling bee tonight, and he got out on the word "rhythm." He was glad he didn't advance onward because of all the studying and all the pressure. I'm glad he didn't win, too, and rhythm is a hard word to spell.
I didn't have philosophy class tonight, and Calc went well. I'm not looking forward to the test next week, but, well, there's nothing new there. When I came home, there was a cheesburger from Dog N Suds waiting for me (I had a cheeseburger at Tastee Freez earlier. Two in one day! I think it was much too much beef).
And now, for some reason, I'm really exhausted. Drained, more like it. So I'll be heading off to bed soon.
