Impaling Myself on Fish... Twice
Whilst looking through the freezer last night, trying to find my pizza to unthaw for tonight's dinner, I hurt myself not once but twice on mysterious seafood items in plain white bags.
I got one pretty painful cut on the tip of my right index finger. It makes typing and clicking tricky. I'm adjusting to using my middle finger on the mouse and typing with my finger in the air.
The other injury was a piece of something lodged in my other index finger, but I removed that without a problem.
To top it off, they'd unceremoniously moved my pizza to the "freezer" in the other fridge, which means it's been thawed for who knows how long.
I was removed from my grump this morning by the free coffee voucher from Starbucks. I might try to snag another one at lunch. The only way for a skinny vanilla latte to taste better is for it not to cost £2.40.
