My Graduation/Summer Party on Friday was a lot of fun. Mason, Deanna, Sean, Catherine, Lauren, Joe, Becca, Jen, and I had a blast playing softball. Joe luckily came to the rescue because, for the life of me, I could not find my baseball mitt or the bats. Mason couldn't either, and Dad (at work) had no idea. But Joe went home and he and Sean brought supplies. Yay! In the end, I think my, Joe, Lauren, Deanna, and Catherine's team lost, but we stopped keeping score.
Sean, Becca, and Jen had to leave after that, but the rest of us came over to my house to eat lunch and have a MASSIVE water balloon (and hose, and cooler) fight. Even Eric's friend JP was involved. It was great! We were all drenched for a long time. Joe had to leave, so the rest of us sat outside in the sun and played Egyptian Rat Screw (ERF for the Mature audiences). We played two games. Lauren went home to change pants in the middle of the first one. Deanna was tired and went home in the middle of the second. Then my dad arrived with Subway for dinner and Lauren and Catherine went home.
It was a lot of fun... but now I have really bad sunburn. My face, my shoulders, my arms, my chest, my back... so painful. And it's hard to find clothing that doesn't irritate it.
Josh came over Friday while we were playing cards and he, Mason, Eric, and I played
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty all night. I went to sleep at midnight, but Mason and Josh stayed up til 2 or 3. Josh left early Saturday morning and Mason, Eric, and I pretty much spent the entire day playing it (it was nice because my back was sore from softball and Mason and I were burnt). We beat it in, like, 11 hours of playing, I think. It was cool, but not as good as the first one.
Becca's graduation open house party thing starts at 4. I think I'm going to go when Mom and Dad get back from getting a new sink for the basement (it's a long story).
Also, Mom won two 4th row tickets to the Yes concert in July from the Loop. And we're trying to win more.
And now I'm off in search of more Aloe Vera.
