after meeting with noushin, and showing her the city some more, kiki and i dropped her off in the presence of her editor friend, and we went our separate ways. kiki and i proceeded to btc, the big shopping center in bežigrad, for a little shopping. there's a delemma in the weight change. i never really thought about it until i lost all this weight. suddenly, i can't really wear my cloths. they're all too big. i swim in shirts i once found slightly tight. oh, and i really don't want to get started on my kilts... i'm ignoring the fact that they're a few inches too large for me...
while at btc, we met up with jj, and finished up the shopping, and exited the mall to find a constant and steady fall of snow. jj, who had been recently promoted, had taken the company car for the weekend, and a little bit of her week long holiday. this afforded us a car to get around the city when jj was around. however, at the same time, this forced us to clean the car as well. and after a few hours of steady snow, there's a certain amount of build up. we spent 10 minutes or so clearing a space for the car to get out of its parking spot before we headed to k&j's for dinner. and, since it was snowing, and 16.00, the traffic caused what should have been a 5-10 minute drive to turn into a 30-45 minute drive.
once we arrived, we only had enough time to change into snow cloths, eat some cold tuna with bread, and then trek to the mail box. we met with maršn in one of the large fields that dot the ljubljana landscape. there, we made a snow man. well, actually, it ended up being a snow pooh bear, as the snow was far to dry (that's right, i said dry snow) to roll up into a ball. we spent an hour or more sculpting and playing in the snow. it was awesomeness.
on the return to k&j's apartment, i stuck my hands into my pockets and found...snow balls. that right, snow had managed to build up into balls in my pockets. it was rather strange. funny, too, as we were in the elevator when i found this out.
afterwards, we went to orto bar for its 15th birthday. very fun, and very tiring, and very smokey. oh, and the music was rather good, too, which is sometimes suprizing in orto bar. they've been going through a slew of bad dj's recently. however, it would make sence to invite a good dj out to your 15th birthday celebration. we went back to k&j's at around 3. and, since it was so late, and i was bikeless, i just crashed there. this worked out logistically better, since we were going to go out to skofja loka the next day.
