1 step closer to an intervention...
So this afternoon my mom all of a sudden, randomly apologized for being "overly critical" of me while I was growing up, and, "It's funny how God reveals these things to you so many years later!" No previous conversation leading up to it...no nothing...so... WTF?? All I said was, "Okay," but didn't feel like adding, "Oh, it's alright! I didn't turn out nearly as fucked up as I could've!" At least God didn't bless her with triplets.
