So, the report card looks something like this:
Psych 331: A
Psych 344: A
Comm 115: A
Chem 105: C+
Soc 301 : C
For Chemistry 105, I guess I pretty much just wasted my time giving it another try, unless I should count the "+" as a bonus. Anyone in that class would agree with me that the professor is a Nazi when it comes to the exams. My final percentage was 78.8%, so I *almost* had a B-. Christy worked hard to prepare me for the final (which I got a 78% on, which was higher than I thought I would get, AND higher than the class average of 73%) & I did a lot better than I would've had she not helped me.
As for Sociology 301--intro to social statistics--the tests were intentionally tricky & confusing...the math itself was not difficult at all, it was just a matter of knowing WHAT to study and HOW to apply it within a strict time constraint... I did okay enough on the final this morning, managing an 81%, but it only covered a couple of previous sections--it wasn't a "real" final. Oh well.
But... WTF?? Why the hell do I make both A's and C's, but never anything in between??? (i.e., a B, B+, or B-)!!!! I am always at either one end of the spectrum or the other, it seems. Of course, I'd rather have an A as opposed to a B or C, but would much rather have a B- instead of a C+. It's like, for every A I get, I also get a C...
So, my semester is over. Sweetness... except, in 9 days, I'll be starting a new "routine" lasting from 9am to sometime in the afternoon--my CNA training. And that will last until June 1st, which isn't too long, but since I don't know what's going to happen after that, it's hard to speculate about the rest of the summer....
Would write more about the goings-on of the last month or however long it's been since the last entry, but I have traffic school to prepare for...
