And to bring it back on track.. I'd play devil's advocate and say that the people who say ""Homophones should have the right to voice their opinions. After all, those gays are voicing thier opinions."" are also correct. Not the ones who say offensive things to a gay person, but they do have a right to speak out.

uh... well... okay, so that wasn't an exact quote. the article was actually all about how it's okay to say nasty things to a gay person because it's their right, just like racists have a right to as well (she actually did mention racists like that). so... yea. that's what kinda caused some fuss. she was just trying to play devil's advocate and be cute. but the way she did it, was extremely dumb.

so... yea. it wasn't exactly the good kind of devil's advocating.
