It is the first sign of interest the foreign inspector has shown so far. Yagami nods. "He's helped us in several cases before. Nothing as large as this, of course, but still..." Despite himself, he can feel the faintest hint of a smile beginning to compromise his professional demeanour.
"Light Yagami. An effortlessly brilliant student. A police chief as his father. Yes, Chief Yagami, I think... I think I would like to meet your sun."
Yagami watches one pale hand twitch, fingers skittering, a spider nearing its prey.
