(no subject)
Well, today sucked. The delivery guy didn't show up fast enough to do this urgent order, so I had to taxi it over myself, and upon coming back learned that I'd packed it wrong and it was for a celebratory thing for the new Parti Quebecois leader.
Not that I care particularly about PQ, but. Still. DRAMA. DX Emoed about for the rest of the day (emoing translating to reversion to shy bird-like mannerisms including hunching, head-bobbing, and polite vocabulary abuse). Tawn took pity upon me and gave me a deformed cupcake, which made it slightly better. Butter. Sugar. Chocolate. Mmm.
In happier news, my work on the latest cracked out AU is progressing pretty smoothly, though I do keep remembering plotholes at random moments and end up scrambling back five pages to try and fix them. Becca is pleased despite this, though, which makes it all good, seeing as she spawned the idea in the first place. I must say that my contribution of bitchy Noldoran elf Somebody!Saix is more fun that it should be. (If you pronounce Quenya as badly as me, Isil becomes Isa very easily. Cough.)
