So, I'm trying to write a cover letter to apply for this library technician job....And I just wish that everything about applying for jobs didn't have to be so goddamn FORMAL all the time. I wish I could just say to them THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS JOB MAKES ME JIZZ MY PANTS. IT'S EVERYTHING I COULD EVER WANT IN A LIBRARY JOB, AND INVOLVES SKILLS FROM MY FAVOURITE CLASS, ACQUISITIONS. I LOVE TOUCHING NEW BOOKS. But I can't. Because they would never hire someone who says that. Even if I took out the pants jizzing part, I feel like it would sound...idk insincere or something. Even though it's completely true, and if this was my job I wouldn't even mind that it's going to take me like 50 min of public transit every day. But noooooooooooo I have to tell them all about my skills and why I would be an asset to them. I feel like if I'm ever in a position to hire people I'll find pretty much every cover letter to be a giant bag of bullshit, because that's how I feel when I'm writing them. I'll hire the people who can make me smile in the interview, because that's the type of people I want to have around me.
In other news, I love Koreans. That's not news at all. In other, other news, I might actually answer this
pasleseul exercise. :D I seem to do a few in a row, but then miss a few in a row. I'm just moody I guess?
Edit: I am also worried because this library is in a sort of religious college and I hope they're not going to expect me to be all I LOVE JESUS. I mean, I have nothing against him, I just am not super religious.
