More news about the school shooting is trickling in. Apparently the sicko made the head teacher kneel in the school yard and shot her while a bunch of nine-graders were watching. He then proceeded to shoot the school nurse who tried to help her. He also attempted to set the school on fire; he had doused the building with liquid fuel but didn't manage to light it.
All the victims died of wounds in the head or upper body. All had multiple gunshot wounds, some closer to twenty. The shooter was carrying around 400 cartridges with him. He shot at the police but they were unable to return fire due to students running away from the school.
The 'Humanity is overrated' text on the shooter's shirt was a line from House.
It seems the tragedy is even worth analysing in the Times. I do wish they didn't emphasise the number of guns in the country. Finns hunt a lot and belong to shooting clubs. Our gun-related death numbers are very low.
