I'm a real Londoner now

Second not so happy post in a row, sorry about that.

I got run over by a bike yesterday, on my way to pick up put theatre tickets after work. I was crossing the street in front of a bus that was standing at a red light, and the next minute I'm on the ground and things hurt.

Fortunately I fell in my back and braced my elbows against the fall, so I didn't hit my head or anything. The worst injuries I suffered are scraped elbows and a bruised, maybe slightly-sprained wrist (it hurts to rotate it, but not enough for anything to be wrong, I don't think).

I forgot to check that there was no one on the other side of the bus, so definitely my fault too, but he was the one who ran a red light, so I'm inclined to place most of the blame on the cyclist.

He was apologetic and helped me up, and I was too shocked to get angry or anything, so then he just went his way and I hurried across the street (thankfully the light was still red at that point). The best part was that I had to walk to the theatre and pretend to be a normal person while high on adrenaline and shaking like a leaf.

The adrenaline drop hit me when I got back to the office and N walked over to talk to me. There was some shaking but fortunately not too much crying. It took a while for the shock to truly wear off and me to start feeling the pain, but it never got actually bad.

Which was lucky, since were seeing We Will Rock You again before it closes. It wasn't too uncomfortable to sit, but I'm going to be blame at least some of the crying during No One But You to the lingering shock.

Seriously, they didn't even start the song. They were still doing the dialogue section of honouring those who died young. Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain... When they finished with Freddie, I just completely unexpectedly burst into tears that didn't stop until after the song ended.
