Teen Wolf season 3
I actually watched the first episode yesterday but I was just too stunned to post. I'm not going to make a habit of this, but I just have so many feels about this that I have to jot them down.
It was so weird to watch episodes without knowing what's going to happen. When I watched the first two seasons, I'd been spoiled to hell and back, so it was mostly just about waiting for known entities to make an appearance.
THE TWINS TURN INTO ONE GIANT WEREWOLF WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENS TO THEIR TROUSERS WHO WRITES THIS STUFF??
I loved the opening, I'm so hoping turning into real wolves will be an actual thing.
But what the hell, why was Posey popping out of the ground? I do enjoy the fact he made MTV turn his unauthorised tattoos into a plot point, and they even made an appearance in the opening.
THE CAR SCENE. DYLAN IS PRECIOUS AND PERFECT AND I HAVE SO MANY FEELS I CAN'T EVEN ARTICULATE THEM.
And Stilinski family feels <3 Not to mention my feels about Stiles' hands... The hand kink is not strong in this one but when his fingers were reaching for his laptop... ಠ‿ಠ
Lydia not wanting a boyfriend but a distraction, I'm all for that, but then the somewhat disturbing sexual references to freshmen kind of sank that boat.
I loved that the first thing Scott does after getting Allison's note was look at Stiles.
The whole hospital scene was all sorts of fail but I remain unbelieving that Scott can't smell another werewolf.
The setup for Derek's entrance was sheer brilliance in its total predictability. The moment Ennis said "I'm an alpha", you just knew whose and what the next line was going to be. Derek's oneliners are my shining light in this universe.
Dylan's background acting during the scene between Chris and the Sheriff was brilliant. His face at his dad at the end <3
The tattoo scene was made of so much fail I can't even list all the things that were wrong with it. They just leave Isaac lying around to fix Scott's urgent tattoo problem? Derek just happens to have a blowtorch on hand in a house that he doesn't even live in? BURNING THE TATTOO SOMEHOW BRINGS IT BACK TO THE SURFACE OF THE SKIN AND KEEPS IT FROM HEALING AGAIN??
But the fandom is marvellous and perfect for coming up theories and trying to get around all the stupidity of it all, when the writers apparently put zero thought into it.
