Finland
We're back in Finland. We both had last Friday off from work and took an early flight to Tampere to attend Finncon and see some of our friends.
Sadly, the con was a bit of a disappointment this year. The programme was the most uninteresting so far and the exclusion of Animecon this year showed, with only 3000 people attending. The guests of honour were great, though, Lois McMaster Bujold (Vorkosigan saga) and Liz Williams (Inspector Chen).
Yesterday we arrived at N's parents' place, where we'll be staying for the holidays. The two weeks here are pretty much dedicated to catching up with friends and assorted relatives. Sorry for the awkward entry (and any typos), I'm writing this on my iPad and it's not the most convenient thing ever.
