Pretty things to come
I took N to see John Carter on Wednesday. And by 'took', I mean I told him to book the tickets and meet me there.
I wasn't expecting much but the film turned out to be downright decent. Cliched as hell but mostly in a fun way. At heart a two-hour showcase of Taylor Kitsch's musculature but, well, it's not like I went to see it for the plot, you know?
We also got to see the Avengers trailer on a big screen for the first time and wow am I excited. May can't come fast enough. The Battleship trailer, on the other hand, looked boring as hell, but Alexander Skarsgård and Taylor Kitsch (with a bonus Landry!). How is a girl gonna say no to that?
