I would have had this up yesterday but I've been battling a terrible migraine.
HAKUEI: Short interview before the Machine concert at Japan Expo
- Orient-Extrême: HAKUEI, what memories do you keep in your participation at the Japan Expo in 2007? What event's have you cherished most?
HAKUEI: The fashion at Laforet HARAJUKU and the talk show [Editor's note: The public conference organized by Orient Extreme] were very nice, but it is the dedication of the fans that I met, one by one, touched me the most.
- Orient-Extrême: This year you have created a ring with of a leopard with BLACK PEACE NOW, it is limited edition and will be sold until May 20, 2008. Can you explain the choice of design? Why a leopard?
HAKUEI: The last time, we had a snake on the ground, and this year, it is a leopard. I want it to be every time, absolutely, an animal; alive, giving the impression of running. The serpent last year and the leopard in 2008, it stuck perfectly to this idea.
- Orient-Extrême: Are other accessories of BPN X HAKUEI being planned? Do you think that some will have a price more accessible to the public, the "less fortunate"?
HAKUEI: I am currently in the process of creating a pendant. This new object will be sold at roughly the same price as my previous productions. In the future, I propose more affordable alternatives, such as t-shirts for example. Amuse yourselves until then!
- Orient-Extrême: At the public conference at JAPAN EXPO 2007, you said that you would like to return to Japan Expo to give a concert. What can you tell us, will you come back this year Japan Expo, and if yes, with which of your projects?
HAKUEI: Yes, I will do a concert with machine on July 4 at JAPAN EXPO.
- Orient-Extrême: Have you come to a partnership for official distribution of your CDs in France?
HAKUEI: For the moment, I have not yet decided.
- Orient-Extrême: What are your future projects? Whether it be in music, fashion or even manga ...
HAKUEI: I really would like to do a world tour.
- Orient-Extrême: Do you have a message for your fans that await you at Japan Expo?
HAKUEI: On July 4, that will be a memorable day because we will hold our first concert in France. I'm really looking forward to being there. I will set fire, so come and see us!
