here and there and everywhere
the last few days of work are flying steadily by. i'm starting to get jittery about going away for 7 weeks. i keep checking my information and worrying about transportation. seems to be all that's on my mind and my posts lately. everyone keeps telling me that i need to at least try to see Live 8 while I am there (including my dad). it might be worth a shot after all.
i've picked up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire again. It's been a long time since I've read it. It is definately my favorite one thus far. I forgot how much those books just suck you in. I can't wait to see the movie in November.
Most of my family is out of town this week. Mom and my sisters went on family vacation with mom's side of the family. I decided to stick around here and enjoy the week before I leave at home. Dad stayed too, but he never goes. he doesn't really enjoy the company of inlaws...especially when he has to share a hotel with them for a week.
because i'm waiting on a bunch of stuff at work before i can finish up, i have had a lot of time to surf the web and livejournal. i found 2 new icons. an HP one from mimisoliel and a Johnny Depp one from velvet_xx.
