i love cake.
here i am at work during spring break, at least i'm only here for a half day today. things have been going well. i went to the centenary tennis match yesterday and watched Anja beat LA Tech's number one player. it was great. i am totally amazed at their ability to move around the court as quick as they do and for as long as they do.
I don't understand why professors fill the need to assign a bunch of homework over break. i have 2 papers due on Tuesday plus tons of reading and a huge web project that involves converting 10+ html pages to xhtml and css. sigh.
I am looking foward to this weekend. Mark and I are heading over to Farmerville (yes, it is everything that the name says it is) to go to the Lake House. Shannon and Robbie are meeting us up there and so are my aunt and cousins. I am looking foward to laying outside and dying easter eggs. sunday we are going to have a big lunch with all the grandparents and my mom has already sent the preemptive "you better wear a dress email." i am complying. shannon will too, though she will probably wear something that shows a lot of cleavage and piss mom off.
i finally finished watching the first season of Roswell. sigh... i am such a nerd.
Oh yea, and I got some information from the British Studies folks about excursions and plays that we have to see. apparently we are going to be dressing up a lot for dinner. they have warned us about going into certain gardens, that we cannot use the library, and that computers are limited. joy. despite it all, i am still super excited and praying that Amy gets in so we can travel together.
