i feel stunning
so today has been a very good day. it is sunny, warm, and perfect outside!
This morning Mark and I did the Pancake Run. I did this 5k 4 minutes faster than my last and ran the whole 3.1 miles without stopping. it was very exciting for me. saw some old highschool cheerleaders and was very delighted when I passed them. I came in 75th place, lol. Afterwards Mark and I walked over to the convention center where we ate pancakes and watched chiors and quartets perform. it was so neat to see all those different people gathered in one space sharing pancakes and music, almost like a movie.
Later, Anja called. We ventured to the frisbie park to soak up some sun and watch some youth groups play frisbie golf. it was so beautiful...
Stopping to Smell the Flowers
after that we went to TCBY for some chocolate malt frozen yogart. after that we pulled into the only Shell station in Shreveport because I had a ift card there and gas is so expensive now. well, i didn't realize that it was full service. that was the first time i'd ever had someone fill up my car for me... kind of weird.
then we went to the new hobby lobby and had fun wandering up and down the endless aisles of junk.
