Another rainy day
So we drove back in from Memphis yesterday. The trip was fun, but nasty and rainy. The wedding went well, everything was moved inside. There were 6 groomsmen (Mark included), so I ended up sitting with all the wives and girlfriends of the other 5. only one really irritated me. i think the most amazing thing about all the people there was that EVERYONE smoked. I have nothing against smokers, but it was unbelievable. As soon as the ceremony was over, the whole wedding party, the bride and grooms parents and step parents, and all the guests rushed outside to smoke. This process occured regularly about every thirty minutes or so.

-The Wedding Coordinator was a crazy control freak that kicked Mark off music duty so she could control when all the dances were
- The Preacher thought he was a comedian, he kept cracking jokes and talking about his own life during the ceremony. I kept thinking "This isn't your day dude."
- I caught the boquet. Not intentionally. The one girl I didn't like was offering the little girls $5 for it if they caught it. She made the rest of us nervous so we backed off. And the next thing I know, I've been hit in the face with roses and daises. All of Mark's buddies gave him a hard time, and one even told him where he could purchase a ring at a good price. Geez, let's not rush things. The mean girl tried to act like she didn't care, but I was waiting for her to rip it out of my hands.

Now I'm back, and already making plans to go back to Tennessee on Friday. Monday and Tuesday is fall break, and the Crew Team is headed up to Oak Ridge for fall rowing training.
It never stops. Ever.
Oh! I got front row center tickets to see Better Than Ezra at the Strand the last weekend in October!!! I am so excited! I haven't been to a concert since I saw Bowie in New Orleans in April! Yay!!!
