2009 is officially upon us. And despite initial big plans for parties and drinks and friends, Mark and I brought the New Year in with just the family. We sat on the couch together, while Leela snuggled into our laps and gave each other a big New Years kiss. My world has been crazy. Between my job, all of my contract work and all the work Mark has me doing for him every single night I feel crazy. Mark couldn't stand the thought of me not getting exactly what I wanted in this new car, so he talked to the folks in Baton Rouge, did some wheeling and dealing, and now we're getting ready to drive down there and get the car in tidewater blue for $500 less. things have definately improved since yesterday's fiasco. mark and i went to the Boardwalk last night and got Cold Stone ice cream (though i wasn't really impressed, i would much rather have Blue Bell). after that we went to Barnes and Noble and I bought an awesome panoramic puzzle of Times Square.
