Going going going... stop!
All this constant work and running around has finally caught up to me and now I'm home sick with a bad bad cold on deadline week. Grah!
At least we had real snow this week... the powdery, pretty kind. Not the stuck-to-the-ground-because-it's-really-ice kind. On my way to work (yes, we still had to go), there were kids out all over the neighborhood building snowmen and having snowball fights. I kept laughing the whole way to work. It's been 10 years since it has looked that white and pretty in Shreveport, and it will probably be another 10 before it happens again.
Leela didn't know what to think of it. At first she just growled at it. (The audacity of that snow laying all over her turf!) But then she figured out it made play time a little more fun and she and Bonnie took off like 5-year-old kids.

I think I will probably have to stay home from work tomorrow, even though it's going to make me have to work late later to make up for it. But I'll post photos from our great snow tomorrow.
