two distinct moods.
Good News:
yesterday and today have been filled with many mixed emotions. it began spectacularly. mark came by after work with roses and we went to jack benion's for an early valentines celebration. the food was great and the atmosphere was so ritzy. we veged out and watched the movie Love and Sex afterwards. wonderful.
Bad News:
today started well enough. unfortunately, when i was at lunch, i received a phone call to let me know that my great grandfather had passed away. i'm driving an hour in the morning for visitation and stay for the funeral on monday. he lived a great life. i can't stop thinking about the last time i saw him in the nursing home. he was grinning and telling me about how he met his wife of 70 years. i hope i'm like that at that age. sigh, everything seems so morose. just recevied another upsetting phone call. looks like its family time for a while.
