Got a call....
Well, I might be getting my new job soon. I got a call from The Fresh Market and they wanted me to stop by for an interview.
However, instead of doing Courtesy Clerk like I wanted, the manager wants me to cut up fruit and put them in cups (and also make fruit kabobs). The only problem....he wants me to do it five days a week.
Pros -
- Close to school where I can go and work right after school.
- Five hour shifts, and he said he can be flexable around my school schedule.
- I would get done around 5 to 6 o'clock, giving me plenty of time to do homework at home.
- I also wouldn't be getting home so late at night, and won't have to close anymore. I'd probably just clean up my back area.
- Cutting up fruit, which is something I did at FM.
- I would work in the back area, so I would have very little customer contact.
- 25 hours or so every week.
- I wouldn't be making Ed "roose" any more money.
Cons -
- Five days a week, so I would be going after school every day.
- Sometimes he wants me to work on Saturdays too, which would be an extra eight hours.
- I'd have to get a food handler's card.
- Have to meet new people and learn where everything is and how to do the job.
I'm going to talk to Mom first, but I think I will do this job.
