Long time, no post
Yes, it seems it takes three days of sheer physical hell to get me to post. Sue me.
Since Monday, I've run a fever of anywhere from 100 to 103, taken as cold a shower as I could manage, and finally went to a clinic yesterday.
The result? Antibiotic shot in the arm, and a diagnosis of bacterial strep.
Scott's got something different, so they gave him different stuff, but all this started because Meg went to the doc on Monday and was given.... Tamiflu. That's right, the stuff reserved for people exposed to swine flu, bird flu, etc. Needless to say, we were glad to not get the same diagnosis. And her doctor put it kinda crappily: "you've got that new flu". Is that code for swine flu, or not? Geesh!
So, we're now on the mend; woke up with around 100 fever this morning, which was better than in the past, and drugged ourselves into oblivion (or at least into the computer-sitting version of it.)
