Upon Labyrinth and fantasy films

I must admit to being disappointed in Labyrinth. For some reason, why I don't know, although I strongly suspect Youtube, I had the idea that it was a romance, or at least a romantic fantasy/had romantic scenes in it. Well, it did - exactly one. Perhaps two if you stretch it. Which normally, if they're good ones, would be enough for me. What I hadn't gathered is that the male character - David Bowie in an occasionally jaw-droppingly charismatic role - is the Goblin King, and hence quite definitively evil. I had the vague idea that the title character(Jennifer Connelly in her teens, quite radiant) was a princess who managed to capture the heart of a sort-of-evil prince who then reformed due to her. Etc. Should have remembered that Youtubers, and Livejounalers for that matter(because I swear someone on my flist mentioned them as a pairing as well) indulge in wishful thinking to great abandon, and don't necessarily portray anything that's actually in the film. Well, as a matter of fact they did have one intensely gorgeous and romantic scene -

Yes, it's weird- give it a moment. And wait for the end. And don't watch if you plan on ever seeing the film. It did however make me wonder why on earth they haven't done this in, say a better film. I mean, what's so hard about a ballroom scene in which two strangers meet with an electric shock of recognition and chemistry? A great deal, apparently. So, other than flashings of intense chemistry once or twice, overall Labyrinth was an (often weird) occasionally cheesy, and more often than not head-scratching fairy-tale/children's film/fantasy.
On the plus, however, I did have several moments of thinking "Wow, he's hot" as David Bowie appeared around a corner in his tight white outfit and intense, glittering eyes, the picture of icy, almost unbearable beauty. Now, in order to complete the round of fantasy/fairy tales films(recently watched Willow, for instance) I must watch Snow Queen and...something else. Oh dear. Totally slipped my mind. There's three main old fantasy  films - Willow, Labyrinth, and something else - and it isn't Legend because I've already seen that as well.
