I'm envious; I spent over $2500 trying to fix my transmission, and the dealership still knew I had had a transmission problem when I went to trade it in. What type of warranty did you have??

Five years ago I bought a Kia new. Its warranty is 5 years, 50,000 miles bumper to bumper, and 10 years, 100,000 miles for the drive train. I'm past 50k but the transmission, engine, and stuff are still covered. I'm pretty sure Kia and Hyundai both have the same warranty now.

Plus, this is the place that had to replace my transmission LAST time. :P

Ohoho, you bought a Kia! That's one of three makes (alongside Mitsubishi and Chrysler) that my brother flatly refused to even let me look at.

Four transmissions? Before the warranty ran out? What are you doing to that poor thing?

Or did you buy a Chrysler?

::snerk:: You sure are getting the worth out of that warranty, though. Hope you find some poor sucker somebody who will buy it.
