Car Update
I just got a call from the car dealership: they just replaced my transmission. It was entirely covered by the warranty (although it cost me some $100 in car rental). This makes the fourth transmission since I purchased it.
I love my little lemon, and I wanted to hold on to it for a few more years, but now that my parents have refused to buy it used (and will presumably encourage tahmthelame not to buy it either) I'm going to have to start looking for places to offload the thing before my warranty runs out.
