My boys went to the grandparents house for a few weeks. I'm going crazy missing them. I can't believe people with kids would ever divorce. How the hell could anybody who cares about their kids choose to be a part time parent. How could a person choose to tear up the heart of everyone they love for their own selfish indulgence?
You could do the dishes or give a BJ and make things better. Why don't people do that? Why do they hurt children and partners in search of selfish gratification? Innocent kids just want a mom and dad. Once you bring life into this world you have an obligation. Even if you are a self absorbed person you need to take a break from yourself and live for something bigger, for awhile. Your time will come, but first you have to be a parent. You have to put your needs at the bottom of the list.
Somewhere back there is the yearning for g's throwing me against the seat. But for now I'm shopping the clearance racks for school clothes.
