1% of the Planet
I was drinking a lovely cup of Harney & Son's Earl Grey tea a few days ago when I saw on the package that they are part of 1% For the Planet. 1% for the Planet is an alliance of businesses that donate at least 1% of their annual revenues to environmental organizations worldwide. I was happy to see this because I think it's a great organization and I am a big fan of Harney & Son's teas. 1% doesn't seem like that much but every little bit helps and many of the companies on the list are huge so 1% of their profits is still a lot of money.
