I completed my project of the Month and then some more! I was able to cut all the sashing for my rainbow quilt this week and I have about half of it sewn on. Shouldn't be too much more work until it's all completed.
I do have sad news for March - I'm not allowed to purchase any fabric. Yes, I went way over my budget this month with fabric so now I have nothing left for March. :( I did find some really great stuff so it's worth it. I bought a yard each of two different Kaffee Fassett prints that I've been admiring for a while now, 3 yards of fabric for the back of the quilt I have planned for my "Gobble, Gobble" jelly roll, a bunch of random fat quarters, and a one yard of a purple and green tea fabric. And, of course, all the stuff I needed for the class I'm talking tomorrow with Megan (which included 3 yards of fabric, a new ruler, a small cutting mat, some new blades for my rotary cutter, and the class fee). The class is about the One Block Wonder kaleidoscope quilt design - looks very interesting and has lots of neat possibilities. I'm mostly taking the class to get out and do some sewing with Megan since she did get me into quilting all those years ago. I feel really weird about it; I'm excited but also very worried since I'll be away from Dominic from 10-5 and that's the longest I will have ever been away from him.
And, on Sunday Dominic and I are driving down to Coos Bay for 5 days. We'll be staying with James if anyone is in town.
