WUT?
WUT?
I hadn't heard this before but if you are pregnant in your 40s with your 5th child and you know that the baby has down's syndrome AND your water breaks and your labour starts a month early you get on an 8 hour flight!? And then drive through a large town with a big medical centre/hospital and choose to give birth to what really sounds like a high risk pregnancy in a small town hospital that later has no record of your child being born there? Really?? And doctors let you? Once your water is broken aren't you supposed to submit yourself to medical care (from the medical model--this is true in my personal experience and in almost all of my anecdotal experiences) especially if you fall into high risk categories (like being a month premature, over 40 and with an already diagnosed syndrome)?
