Don't be daft, Bella. If nobody else had visions, then you were likely really seeing something. That's bloody brilliant!

I looked into teacups all last term and saw nothing. 'Cept for soggy leaves. I think Moody gave me a different kind of poison. It's possibly that Auntie went through him in attempt to kill me afterall.

Who's going to find a bonafide vision when they're actually looking for one? Sod the teacups, for it's a barmy, pseudo form of magic. Does your Auntie have red eyes, then? Was it her you saw? How'd you feel? Was it better than firewhiskey?

Auntie's eyes are not red in the literal sense, I s'pose. I don't know who or what I saw, and though I was admittedly upset when it was going on, when it ended I was left wishing I could have seen more. Do you think that's strange? Dunno what it means.

Don't think it's strange.

I suppose when you've experienced something unusual you just desire more information, is all. Did you sense anything? Anything at all, that would give it meaning?

Sense anything? Well maybe that it was calling to me...I s'pose. Yes, something like that.

Hmm.

I caught you a creature today in DADA - a Kappa. Ruddy Moody wouldn't let me bring it to you. Maybe I'm the one who should lodge a formal complaint, for I've as much right to keep what I fish from the lake as anyone else.

"Hmm." Why do you always do that at me?

That was quite thoughtful of you; I should have liked a new pet after my ordeal today.

Just thinking, I suppose.

I had even filched two cucumbers from the kitchens.

Why do people "HMM" when they are thinking instead of just saying what they are thinking, that I'd like t'know.

Really? Very sharp thinking, Moody was likely impressed.

Probably for the same reason someone might say I s'pose. Yes, something like that. Likely they don't want to blurt it out all over a public venue. Doesn't mean they won't say what's on their mind under different circumstances.

Sharp thinking, yes - but I don't care if bloody Moody was impressed or not.

Hmm. Sharp again. D'you want to talk somewhere?

Yes, for I am most interested in your experience. Where are you?

Round the back of the fire in the common room.

Will you tell me what you are thinking when you say "Hmm", then?

Excellent. One of the warmer spots in the dungeons.

If you want. I could even show you.

Show me what you're thinking? Well, if you think that's best.
