A bad night:
Month-old laptop crashed for mysterious reasons (seriously, I have NO idea. I didn't even download anything new, or transfer new files, etc etc since the last time I used it. Heck I've used my laptop 5+ times since I last downloaded any software on there), forcing me to go to Sony Style to try and fix the problem. The manager had no idea what was wrong. All of my data is still on the laptop, which is going to be sent in for servicing and will be wiped clean, I'm sure.
Exercising the inner optimist which I really need to apply to myself more:
I didn't delete any of the originals from my desktop, but wooow am I paranoid.
I'm getting my money's worth, considering the huge chunk of my internship earnings I fished out for this top-of-the-line laptop + extended warranty. But man. At least the customer service is great because of it. And one of the reasons I chose my laptop was the Windows XP downgrade (oh yea), so I might revert to that till my Windows 7 comes in the mail in October.
If only my uni program encouraged Macs, I would've gotten that and a free iPod Touch!
adfwawe;jkf; ... I wish I knew what went wrong. :'( There goes my night. I wanted to finish Prison Break and read the latest Vogue issue and curse that fact that I don't live in a place with stronger ties to fashion.
