*yawns*
It's been a lazy day here... It's raining, it's cold and it's quite calm around here at work. Everything I wanted right now is to take a nap, but I can't do that without drawing attention from my co-workers *g*. The co-worker on my left side just smiled to me when he noticed I can't stop yawning *yawns some more*. It's like I'm possessed...
Anyway, I'm just killing time here on LJ to keep me from drooling over my keyboard. So, I will try to write something about what I've been watching lately... Just brief thoughts...
Lost - ep. 3.19 - The Brig
- This show confuses me... a lot. What's up with that parachutist saying that the Flight 815 was found and there were no survivors? What the hell? It's some big concealment? Someone has been masking the truth to the rest of the world? Or the people on the island are living in some kind of parallel dimension? My head hurts *ouch*.
- Locke made Sawyer kill his dad, who was the responsible for the death of Sawyer's parents. And again, with this we saw more characters connected. What does Locked want anyway? Be friends with the Others? Cos if he wanted to help the survivors, he shouldn't have exploded the submarine in the first place.
- Juliet seems to be infiltrated among the survivors against her will. I realized that after she saying off the record that she hates Ben. Maybe she will change sides.
- I guess Sun is in really danger.
- Kate has been sleeping with Sawyer in a regular basis, I guess. But she has been using him. What a b*.
- Flashback. Jin's mother was a whore and she blackmailed Sun to keep the secret from Jin and Sun's family. At least Sun used the power and influence of her family to intimidate Jin's mother. Go Sun.
Supernatural - ep. 2.20 - What Is and What Should Never Be
- The episode focus on Djinns, who are terrible creatures not even near of the nice Jeannie from that TV show.
- I felt sorry for Dean, he just wanted hem mom back and have a normal life, but to have that, he would have let dye all those people he and Sam saved.
- And, to make things worst, he and Sam didn't get along in the wishland.
- At least he had a nice woman who really cared for him. I liked her.
- Dean stabbing himself was intense. And his "family" wanted to convince him to stay in the wishland. I guess after draining all Dean's blood, this wishland would fade away with Dean's death.
- Lovely exchange between the brothers at the end of the episode. I was all awwwwwwwwww.
- It's been awhile since we saw some development regarding Sam's special powers.
- It's almost the end of the season and we still have no clue about when and how the great battle with the demon with yellow eyes will start. It's frustrating *sighs*.
Spiderman 3
- For someone who doesn't read the comics (and therefore doesn't know much about Spiderman cannon), it was a nice movie with some nifty acting (I have to mention that guy who played Goblet Jr - James Franco, he was very nice), good action and impressive effects.
- But my bf
nighttechno wasn't that pleased at all 'cos, according to him, the director changed some crucial events on the movie, changing the way some things were in the comics.
- Well, they always do that lately, right? They take a very popular hero from the comics and during the process to transport the said hero to the big screen, they change some relevant facts and distort the original story, which makes a lot of fans very very upset. It has been happening over and over again (and I can't even need to start talking about what it has been done with Superman, Batman, X-Men and so on...).
- And they never mentioned the name of the villain Venom, even if he was there with his big sharp teeth *shakes head*.
Plus I have to rec again a fic I've been enjoying to read a lot. It's called Friday by
girlpire. She posted the second part
HERE and it's just getting better and better.
Now let me be with my laziness *yawns*.
