Why are you not open on a Saturday???
Tried a new restaurant today...the Cornbread Cafe in Eugene off of 7th. The serve completely vegan food. I got the Phish & Chips and tygati got The Eugenewich. The place was packed and there was only one poor guy manning all of the tables. The food was pretty good as were the prices...a nice selection. However, the upkeep of the cafe was really poor. The bathroom was one of the worst that I have been in and the cafe lost all of its points mainly based on that. It was a decent place to try, but neither one of us plan on ever going back. =(
I haven't had a chance to do any writing lately. I have been crocheting like a mad fiend trying to get Christmas presents made. I have also had a couple of custom orders that I have been doing. I did an amazing trade with Creative Bartering. I sent her one of my sun hats and received a plaque with our name on it. We plan on putting it in our front window beside the door.
I was asked to do a custom job for a barter with Dragonfly Dreamcatchers. She wanted an Olaf hat for her daughters 6th birthday. She offered me such an amazing deal, I wanted to include something a little extra for her daughter and so I made an Olaf amigurumi. I despise the movie Frozen, but I try to make the things people request. =) And I have to admit, the hat was something that I hadn't made before and I enjoyed the challenge and plan on using the pattern to make a couple of more non-Olaf related hats.
