An RV at sea

Mom and I ran to the store today to pick up a few food items to last us a couple of days. It's been kind of challenging not having water, a refrigerator or a stove. We did get the microwave working though so we can mic stuff. We also got the electric teapot dug out of storage and mom bought herself a coffee pot so that we can have lots of warm drinks.

I got the tree decorated. I think it looks pretty lovely for what I had to work with this year. I even got the boys involved after seeing a post over at DoA about posting pics of your dolls with your trees. I posted the game to a couple of doll sites that I belong too, let's see if anyone responds.

The weather has been pretty horrible. We could really hear the rain beating down on us last night and today and the wind has been blowing so hard it has been making the RV rock.

A duck came by to say hello the other day. He scared the crap out of mom by nipping her pant leg as she had her head inside one of the RV compartments trying to fix the water leak. She came around to the door to get me so that I could meet him and he followed along behind her faithfully. He was so darn cute!!! When I went back inside though I couldn't find Kai ANYWHERE. It's not like there are that many places to hide inside the RV...finally I found him wedged up inside the dashboard. Apparently he had seen the duck and the duck had scared him. Yes, my 13.5 pound scaredy cat...literally...by a duck!!! The next time we went to a store I tried to find duck food, but all they had was wild bird feed. I have since learned that there is a duck pellet that you can pick up at a feed store or co-op or to feed them leafy greens, but not iceburg lettuce. Don't know why about the lettuce, but I know someone here on LJ that has raised ducks that I plan on asking...

I've been dealing with a massive case of depression, but otherwise things have been okay.
